Today it was all news for STR Fans and that too right from the horse's mouth STR himself. STR had listened to a story from Nelson a newbie and also a friend of STR over phone and he was so impressed that he asked Nelson to send the script to him and he was so happy with the way it was presented.
The later then narrated the story to STR fully and it was all fun time listening to the story. And STR immediately conveyed this to NIC. Arts Chakravarthy who was happy to say that he is gonna produce the movie.

The delay was due to the schedule of Anoushka and STR Silambarasan, has the later was busy with Podaa Podi schedule in London which has completed 70% of its shoot. While Anoushka was busy with her movie opposite Akkineni Nag Arjuna.
Sources indicate that the movie has been changed or adapted to the regional influence.

It is said that Krish the Director of Vaanam planned to rope her in the Telugu version itself but unfortunately it was not done. But now since Sonia Agarwal is in, the movie has got that extra feather to it. Long way to go.

I am so happy to be a part of Vaanam as I had seen the original and loved it. I always wanted my comeback film to be a memorable one and though my role is not the central character, it is well- etched out and I loved the manner in which director Krish narrated it to me. Krish has also promised me a song and four more scenes than in the original Telugu version
