Hi frenz and Fans of Thalaivan Silambarasan. Here is a small Update. Our Little Super Star Silambarasan will fly to Singapore for his New year Celebrations. He would be accompanied by the Pooda Podi Team and his close aide Deepan.
The Trip is planned as the movie Silambaatam is grossing record collections.
Silambarasan will be in Singapore for around 4 days.

Of late, Silambattam has been a major cause of traffic jams in some parts of the city! How?! Venture out on the roads abutting the theatres where it is screened and you will know! It looks like all the crowds of Chennai are at the theatres playing Silambattam! This movie has been receiving an astounding audience response and it looks like it will soon join the “kings of box office” list of 2008!
Inside, you would hear all sorts of chaotic expressions of joy. People love it, especially the songs, stunts, and the “Simbuisms”. One should look at the audience reaction to the songs to believe it! ‘Nalamthana’, ‘Vachikkava’, ‘Where is the party’ seem be everyone’s favourites!
Simbu plays two roles in this film: a strong-willed villager and a demure lad who turns violent in the second half. Though audiences enjoy both parts equally, the “villager” seems to more preferred by the public! Surprisingly, though the “demure-boy-turned-macho-man” character has the best songs and dance sequences, yet the other character has left a deeper impression on the audiences' minds. The reason? They have not seen Simbu in such a mature character before – we just have to stop at that to avoid leaking the plot! And Simbu’s Billa getup is a bonanza!
Heroines: Simbu’s heroines are always a topic of discussion just like the Bond girls, and they have an exotic aura, e.g. Yana Gupta and Mandira Bedi. The trend continues in Silambattam too – a wonderful beauty Sana Khan has been introduced in this film. Plus we have Kollywood’s “Mona Lisa” – Sneha, the lady with a beautiful smile! Both these girls walk away with your hearts despite their abbreviated roles and outfits!
Clearly, Silambattam is another feather in Simbu’s cap!
PS: Simbu probably sustained more injuries while attempting those acrobatic dance steps than in stunt sequences! Watch out for those incredibly nimble dance steps! Great!
Understand from this Vijay loves the movie and Simbu. But the So called fans seem to be tired shouting.
Silambarasan’s Silambattam is doing good business all over and needless to say the crew is on cloud nine especially director Saravanan. Special shows have been arranged for almost all popular heroes who have praised the director and hero’s work. In one of an exclusive show conducted for Ilaya Thalapathy, director Saravanan had made use of

the opportunity and requested him to work under his direction. Impressed with Saravanan’s work, Vijay is also reported to have given his assent to hear a script. Perhaps Vijay may soon team up with Saravanan. We will keep you posted.

Actor Silambarasan and Namitha were supposed to be paired in Simbu’s near biographical movie, Kettavan.
But with the project being postponed for reasons unknown, Silambarasan had moved on with Silambattam which is now a super hit. But it looks like the duo will be teaming up very soon.
Simbu will be doing a cameo role in a film titled Jagadalaprathapan directed by editor Antony. The buzz is that Simbu will do a koothu song in the movie, which is likely to begin in February.

| Simbu's Silambattam has opened in 13 screens across Chennai. In four days of its release according to Simbu Cine Arts, who are distributing the film it has netted a whopping Rs 51 lakhs. Truly amazing for a Simbu film! At number two is the new release Prakash Raj's Abhiyum Naanum good in multiplexes, ok in single screens. At number three is Vaaranam Aayiram, which has taken a beating due to Simbu film, which managed to get big screen at Sathyam, Inox and other multiplexes. But it is holding very well, due to family audiences during weekend. At number four is SRK's rocking Rab Ne Bana De Jodi, which inspite of negative reviews is doing well in multiplexes. Silambarasan aka Simbu is on cloud nine, as his latest Silambattam released last Thursday and has taken a good opening. The trade has declared the film a hit. Says a relieved and happy Simbu, “It is my biggest hit after Manmadhan and I just can’t ask for more! I wanted to get an image of a mass hero with Silambattam and I’m very happy that I’ve achieved it.” After the film’s release, the actor conducted two separate private shows of the film for his industry friends. In the first show, his role model and favourite hero Ajith and wife Shalini were present, along with a host of others. Interestingly, the climax of the film features Simbu in a Billa look and garnered loud praise and claps at the theatres. Other than the sequences, the songs of the film — particularly the hit number, Where is the Party, has been the talk of the town. The very next day, he held another screening at a preview theatre for Ilayathalapathy Vijay and his friends. Both the stars were full of praise for the young actor’s energy and enthusiasm which they thought was evident in the film. We hear that Vijay called Simbu aside and congratulated him on his dancing skills. “Eppadi Ippidiyellam dance panne,” is what he had to tell Simbu. Meanwhile, the Ultimate Star loved every minute of the film and was happy that the Billa look came out well in the climax.

Behindwoods succumbs to the Ground Reality.
It is well noted that the Lame behindwoods came up with a very bad review on Silambaatam.
But now they are facing heat from all quarters as they where losing people from checking their website as they where giving only false news.
Now due to this they have have come with the statement that Silambaatam is first and still they say that the movie has nothing new to give.
I still wonder what Villu songs had to go that extra position within the day of release.

Baby Shamili the sister of Shalini Ajith Watched Thalaivan Silambarasan Starring Silambaatam in Sathyam Cinemas on Saturday.
She was present along with her friends.
She was found to be really interested with the movie and also when we enquired on how the movie was , she was all praise for simbu.
She said she loved the way Simbu was dancing and also the Billa Scene where Silambarasan Comes as Ajith.
