Silambaatam will speak Telugu soon, courtesy the dubbed version of Silambattam that is soon scheduled to hit Tollywood screens under the title Maa Vaadu. The Telugu audio release was held at the Four Frames theatre today. The audio was released by Rama Narayanan and received by R B Chowdry of Super Good Films. Select invitees participated in the event including producers Murlidharan, Venu Gopal and Swaminathan from Lakshmi Movie Makers.

In his address, the Telugu producer Vasu mentioned that Silambarasan has a considerable amount of fan following in Andhra Pradesh. That precisely sums up the motivation behind dubbing the movie into Telugu, there is also the fact that Silambattam had a pretty decent run in Tamil Nadu.. Maa Vaadu will soon be released in theatres all over Andhra. With this, Silambarasan will join actors like Kamal and Rajini whose films are routinely dubbed into Telugu.
